creative uses for postcards

April, favorite customer of mine recently showed me what she was doing with her recent purchases of postcards.  I loved the idea and wanted to share it with you along with many other creative uses for postcards.

Here is what April used my postcards for and she also made a few more to give as gifts...love it!
It's a vintage postcard calendar journal.  You basically go to the date and write something simple that happened on that day.  Just like April, I think it would make a great gift for Christmas, baby showers, weddings, etc.

With all of the technology we have now it seems that writing a note to someone is a lost art.  I love going to the mailbox and receiving a note.  It's so much better than all of the bills.

The postcards hanging in the window are from wedding guests.  The guests wrote their well wishes on the postcards in place of a guestbook.

Pretty vintage postcards serve as party invitations. Just write the event details on the back and attach an address label to the front.
