I feel that I am in a really good place in my life. I have a wonderfully loving husband, three healthy (and rambunctious) boys and I am doing something that I absolutely LOVE to do...take photos! Seriously, I am blessed beyond measure!"
I had many ideas of things that I am grateful for but, none of them really panned out. I wanted to get some photos of my kids or just one of them. Not happening. Well, I did get a photo of Emma but, it was after she had dumped out an entire container of oatmeal on the floor. My first reaction isn't happiness but, look at her face and how happy she is. How could I not smile? I am so extremely blessed to be a mother. Messes and all. I am trying more each day to embrace the messes of my daily life and give thanks for the cuties that create them.

Emma is such a sweetheart! I love this photo and the joy on her face. Motherhood is the hardest job I've ever had but, the most rewarding. Keep up the good work my dear. Your kids are lucky to have you.
i love your choice for thankfulness. we all have these moments as moms, don't we? the first reaction is to freak, but after we settle down we can't help but laugh. the expression on her face is priceless. and a few years from now, you will treasure this picture and this memory. remember when emma was little?

The idea of embracing mess, of embracing the not so lovely clutter that can fill our days and finding the good in it it, the positive. The half glass full approach to life is hard, but I can only imagine what happiness and contentment it would bring, to let go of the negative the things that don't really matter at the end of the day. (sorry rambling as usual.
