Autumn and spring are my favorite seasons. Mostly because they are mild in temperature and because of the changes that take place in nature...so much eye candy. I love the rich autumn colors such as the beautiful deep red leaves from Melissa and the warm orange of the pumpkins from me. I enjoy the tradition of carving and painting pumpkins with my little ones and that's why I decided to photograph them. I'd like to have taken pictures of our changing leaves like Melissa but, here in the desert our leaves have only just begun to change (it was around 100° yesterday).

Autumn is my favorite season; you are right about the eye candy! I am convinced the sight of the oranges and reds raises serotonin levels!

my favorite seasons are fall and spring too! although i do like some winter. anyways, love the photos. i hear ya on the changing leaves. we don't have any yet either. i live in colorado. but if i did travel a ways in the mountains, the aspens would be turning. still can't believe that october is here!!!

I love the changing leaves too and wish it happened sooner down here. I love carving pumpkins too, we should get together and make a party of it. Pumpkins make a perfect autumn photo!

I just love autumn. The weather is perfect. I love both the pics... I miss the ritual of carving and painting pumpkins with the kids, and toasting those pumpkin seeds in the oven. I just might have to do one myself this year. :)
